This is a mainstay strategy of almost every single poker player. If you aren't playing any premium cards you get dealt aggressively pre-flop and following up with more aggression post-flop then you are missing out on profits.
You can slide down your definition of premium hand to be able to play these more, but don't get too crazy about it because you are losing the inherent strength of the strategy.
