Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger popularly known as Arnold Schwarzenegger is a multi talented, self-made, determined Hollywood personality. He is one of the most successful individuals in the Hollywood history. He is a super star, director, producer, bodybuilder, model, businessman and a politician. He is a man full of passion for his life. A man full of determination to achieve what he wants. His life is a real lesson to all the ambitious youngsters, to grow in their lives and reach heights. The life of Arnold Schwarzenegger was not "bed of roses"; his life was a real picture of an individual who has come from rags to riches. A strong will power to strive for things made him a Big man. This super hero of Hollywood is the 38th Governor of California.
The Austrian Life Known as Austrian Oak, the child Arnold Schwarzenegger was born in Thal, a small Austrian village. He had a rough childhood being encouraged to work hard for a good living. From his young days, Arnold Schwarzenegger despised the common life. He always dreamed for a better life and it seems that his dream, after many years, came true. His childhood was quite difficult, as his parents imposed strict rules. Maybe for this reason, Arnold used to dream having a free life and this is why his father always considered him a rebel.
Starting Life: Bodybuilder and Model As a teenager, Arnold Schwarzenegger chooses bodybuilding for his career. After seriously training for years, he enrolled in the army respecting the Austrian laws. After finishing his military stage, back in 1965 he won the title Mr. Europe. The dream to become Mr. Universe brought him to America, the choice of his life. In America, he won Mr. Olympia for not less than seven times, which is a great accomplishment. Anyway, he remembers encountering different issues especially because of his strong German accent. Even today, after living for more than 30 years in America he still has a strong accent.
Personal life of Arnold Arnold's first lady love was an English teacher by the name Barbara Outland Baker and both of them split up after staying together for almost five years. Barbara was a person who wanted to lead an ordinary and simple life whereas Arnold disliked the idea of leading a normal life. Sue Moray, the next woman who stepped into his life was an assistant to a Beverley Hills hairdresser. At last, he got married to Maria Shiver whom he met a at Tennis tournament.
Film career Schwarzenegger's ambition was to get into acting and he got a chance to play the lead role of Hercules in the movie titled "Hercules in New York". There was no turning back after this. He went on to do many films such as "The long Goodbye", "Stay Hungry" and the "The Villain" Schwarzenegger's huge breakthrough in his acting career in the box office hit titled "Conan, the Barbarian which was released in the year 1982. Following this was another major box office hit "The Terminator ". Adding to his list of movies were Commando, Raw Deal, Predator, Batman & Robin.
Business career: Arnold Schwarzenegger started a bricklaying business by building partnership with his fellow bodybuilder Franco Columbu which was profitable too. Later Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife introduced a restaurant at Santa Monica called Schatzi on Main. It was sold in 1998. He also invested in shopping malls.
