Cute Animals: Reasons Why They Shall Continue To Be So Very Appealing
Cute animals , whether in photos, movies or indeed the real thing, have always been undeniably very attractive appealing to many people. It is the arrival of the internet though, and particularly YouTube, that has facilitated an explosion in cute animals videos' popularity. There is something very attractive about the immediacy of being able to grab a video of a cute animal preferably doing something funny, like dropping off to sleep and then falling off whatever piece of furniture they happen to be lying on!
If you look at which funny video clips have received the most hits on YouTube, then you will find a common theme running through them. What makes them funny is when we can identify something of our own humanity in their behavior. This could be because they are perhaps displaying such human characteristics as foolishness, cleverness, playfulness, cunning, affection, even embarrassment. There is no documented proof that animals have the same motivations and emotions as us, but it is certainly tempting and heart-warming to think that this is the case.
As an example, whoever has witnessed the sea otters at the Vancouver Aquarium dozing and holding paws while they float on their backs in their pond cannot fail to feel that their performance is charming. What's more, the notion that their apparent togetherness is by chance is entirely dispelled when, having become separated, one of the two manouvres his way back to the other otter and takes hold of her fliipper once more. So, what was originally charming results in being exceptional. Practically human.
There are numerous funny video clips of other otters doing what otters do so well â" playing and socializing with each other. At zoos, you can see people watching with delight and in amazement as these adorable critters frolic and play with each other, while chirruping and squealing. Then, there is always one otter which has to start playing with a pebble, tossing it up in the air, balancing it on its stomach and carrying it under one of its front legs. These animals are just like children demanding attention, crying for food and playing together.
You might at the same time have watched the video clip of the moonwalking bird shot at a zoo in England. This smart flamingo appears to have discovered a different approach to help him disturb the dirt in its pond to assist in his feeding. The genius of this humorous bird is the fact that he looks like he is performing the Michael Jackson moonwalk! He leaves the other birds standing as he slides backwards in the water.
We can undoubtedly get a great deal of satisfaction from seeing cute animals on film. It most certainly looks like the clips of video that are most viewed on YouTube are not simply the ones of cute puppies and kittens (which are excellent value anyway), but in addition those clips of video where the characters demonstrate the most apparently-human behavior, whatever it may be. Most likely, people's preoccupation with them will carry on growing.
