Matt Damon's Best Roles In Years Past
Matt Damon is a pretty good actor. I wouldn't say he is the best out there, since many of his roles are similar, but I really like the guy and I like most of the movies he stars in. I also like that he does not take himself too seriously, which is indicated by his ridiculous roles in Eurotrip and on Entourage.
Let's discuss some of Matt Damon's best films so far in his career.
The first movie on this list that I will mention is The Talented Mr. Ripley. Matt Damon stars as the title character that is sent on a mission to bring back a spoiled rich boy, played by Jude Law. This movie is better than I make it sound.
One movie that has to be on any Matt Damon best-of list is Good Will Hunting. This is the movie that exposed Damon to the nation, and what a great movie to get the job done. This is a fantastic movie and a great one to watch with a teenage son or daughter.
Another film that definitely makes the list for me is Ocean's Eleven. I didn't enjoy Ocean's Twelve and Ocean's Thirteen as much as the first, but the first one was fantastic. This was a well executed story.
When it comes to movies directed by Kevin Smith, my favorite film is definitely Dogma. This movie stars Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Linda Fiorentino, Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes. This is a great comedy from a great director.
The last movie that I will mention on this list is The Departed. This is easily one of the best movies of the past decade and Damon was a big part of the reason why. Both Damon and Leonardo DiCaprio are fantastic in this movie.
