Garden lovers know that pruning lavender plants has good value. When plants are pruned, the lavender plants thrive well and become more beautiful. The truth is, the lavender plant is considered as a hardy specie that can thrive even in humid climates. The habit of pruning lavender plants while they are still young would be a very good approach in producing very lush lavender plants.

Like most garden plants, growing lavender plants should not be a problem as long as you have the right variety to grow as well as good growing conditions. In general, plant hobbyists who overlook pruning lavender plants encounter this dilemma.

Although lavender plants are cold-resistant, they cannot live well under very damp conditions.Then, just cut off the flower heads as soon as they are one year old. This seems an odd way to handle young lavender plants but this greatly contributes to the lateral growth of branches. After a year, the flowers and spikes would also grow this way.
