Skullcandy Lowrider portable earphones

By Barber Paul

When you think about tiny and lightweight on ear headphones, Skull candy might not be the initial first brand that pops to mind "if if it does at all. The brand is well known for their giant and flashy earphones, though they do have Skullcandy Lowrider, a line designed with portability particularly a main consideration.

Portable headphones built for mobile users

Skullcandy Lowrider headphones are on ear earphones that may be folded when not in use. These are kitted out with an ultra-portable fold-up headband, so when folded, they are sufficiently small to slot in a travel pouch to be tucked away in your bag. These Skullcandy earphones are also much sleeker than the brand's other lines like Hesh and Skullcrusher. Large earphones are not everyone's thing, and if you like the sleek look better, then the Lowrider should be a good choice for you.

These headphones also feature a 90 degree swivel on the speakers so you can hear something else while your music plays on in your other ear.

These phones also feature a 90 degree swivel on the speakers so that you can listen to something else while your music plays on in your other ear.

Good sound quality

Compared against the Hesh line, Lowrider features smaller 40mm speakers, though they still output great sound quality with a frequency response in the range of 18 to 20KHz. This frequency range basically means the Skullcandy Lowrider produces great bass, along with other middle and high range sounds in the human hearing range. Even with relatively tiny speakers, it produces high volume output.
