Interested In Knowing Who Wears The Crown In The World Of 3D Televisions?
If you're looking into 3-D TVs then look no further than Panasonic. The Panasonic Viera series of TVs have won awards across the board in terms of 3-D technology. It looks like plasma technology has won out over LCDs at this point in time and the Panasonic Viera's are the top of the line plasmas around. At E3 this year, their new VT 30 version of TV blew away the competition and amazed reviewers. It's 3-D technology and images are absolutely stunning and really should be the top choice for anyone looking for the best 3D TV for 2011.
One of the few areas the Panasonic was a bit lacking in in the past was design. The 2011 versions of Viera TVs on the other hand look absolutely amazing and certainly don't fall short in the design and style category. They are now definitely equal to those TVs from Sony and Samsung and in my mind look even better.
One of the standard claims to fame that Viera TVs has always been their amazing ability to produce rich and deep blacks that blow other TVs out of the water. The 2011 version of the Viera line of plasma TVs are no different. The colors look absolutely stunning and really are worth the price. The 2011 Panasonic TVs also up the game in terms of 3-D ready glasses. While the 2010 version of 3-D glasses were a bit bulky and uncomfortable, the 2011 versions are a lot more streamlined and easier to wear.
In terms of plasma versus LCD technology, Plasma takes the cake. LCD TVs still have problems with ghosting images. What's ghosting? Essentially it's when you're able to see the remnants of prior images or separate images in a 3-D environment. LCD televisions have been guilty of this when compared with plasma sets. So plasma is definitely the way to go.
3-d Television technology is regularly changing and getting better, so I strongly encourage you to keep up-to-date with what brand is on top. Nowadays it's Panasonic, but you never know moving forward. It's possible another brand may become the leader.
