The New Orleans is known for the black magic and the voodoo in the old quarter. The public opinion is distributed when we talk about ten power of the black magic. Some say that it has tremendous powers and the other have no faith in it.

The black magic has very deep roots even in the n modern world. It has still its penetration in the united state. The black magic's history and its development with time is discussed below.

European made several colonies in the newly discovered areas of the world named New World. The Europeans brought their African slaves and those slaves are thought to be the main source of the introduction of the black magic in the modern era.

These black magic tricks and practices were thought to be the demon worship and the Puritans banned these magic in the civilized colonies. The slaves did not took this as serious and continue to practice the black. They spread it where ever they go and in this way the black magic remain alive in the society.

In the darkness of the night, the slaves used bonfires to practice their traditions and sacrifice the animals during the worship. This type of strange deeds was then adopted by a few settlers too and they started the practice secretly to protect themselves and their family.

The Haiti is considered as the main source of the voodoo spread and practice in the recent era. The Haitians adopted the voodoo as a religion and are practicing it. The animals are sacrificed to complete the rituals of the voodoo.


The people have different opinion about the black magic, some relate it to the sin and other have no solid interest in this regard.
