Most secondary school leavers are faced with the dilemma of whether to go to junior college or not. This dilemma is not made any easy by the number of different colleges out there, all offering something different. The most important thing in deciding whether to attend college or not is to determine your goals and ambitions for the future and then finding the college that serves your purpose.

Junior college is the two year school education prior to going to university. Junior colleges are known by many names such as community or technical colleges. Junior colleges are designed to provide students with academic, vocational training and professional courses.

Junior colleges offer a wide range of subjects up to associate`s degree. But this doesn't mean if you want a diploma or a certificate you can`t enroll at junior college because they also offer these.

Junior colleges are great because most graduates from junior college end up going on to study for a bachelor's degree. With the credits you earn from junior college you can go to study for any degree at university.

Most people don't realize the importance of attending junior college. College has many advantages over four year colleges especially on your pocket, you can save money by taking a core class of the degree that you want at college before you go to university.

Junior college classes are usually much smaller, and you get excellent tuition, because you receive personal attention from lecturers.

You aspire to get an associate`s degree or a bachelor`s degree the best stepping stone is to go to junior college. Some colleges are so much like the real colleges that most junior college graduates don't have a hard time adjusting to college life.

Junior college is great for anyone trying to go further in education or to open up more doors at your current workplace.
