Uncovering the Xbox kinect
The Xbox kinect is a gaming console which was recently launched by Microsoft, the company responsible for your Windows XP and Windows 7 operating systems. Yep, they finally have one that's working no problem. But the Xbox kinect was not always known by this name. Before bearing this name, it was known as "Project Natal".
Thus when it comes to differences over the previous model, this recent release is 17% smaller when it comes to size, than its predecessor and on top of that it also has a lot of features to brag with. When designing this particular model, Microsoft really took into consideration all of the user feedback they have been receiving over the last years and they decided to use that information and design one of the best gaming consoles on the market. It's like a console made with Microsoft engineering but crafted using a gamer's mind.
Even if in the past there were, when compared to the Play Station, the same amount of games available for the two, now, the box 360 has the upper hand while the Play Station has been left terribly behind. Popular games for the Xbox are Gears of War, Halo 3, Mass Effect and BioShock. These were massive hits on the PC so Microsoft acted quickly and had them launched on their platform as well. Smart move!
Thus the new model has an upgraded cooling system which seems to render no problems in keeping things cool, as they should be and it also features evolutionary Xbox controls. Featured with this new release is also an audio out port, which can be paired with a composite video connection or a HDMI. You will also find a specially created Kinect port and along with it another 5 USB ports.What you will be able to admire more about this is that it also features a Wi-Fi support that can go up to 802.11n and when talking about storage, the hard drive is a good 250 GB one. You won't be able to have your HDD swapped like you used to do with the previous model, but this was something that people would expect, along with the lack of a Blu Ray support.
Joyride is a game that will have players driving and this will be a real experience as you will have to move your hands like you would be steering your wheel which really is something new compared to other devices out there. Star wars (soon to be launched) will be by far demanded by a lot of people for it will feature light saber fights which are to be very challenging. If you ever need cheap wii accessories, you will be able to easily get them off the web.
