Amos and Andy DVD features a newly modified full set of episodes that bring to life one of the country's most beloved and funniest radio and television series. It was a story of humor and life and how crazy city life can be.

The creators of the series were Freeman Gosden and Charles Correll. They produced it too. Although the comedy series was mostly of a black American casting, these two were the ones who voiced the characters in the radio show.

Right at that time, there were not much of black actors and actresses yet. It was hard for the television production casting team to find the right actors and actresses for the show. It thus took an estimated period of four years to select the television cast who would play the different parts of the characters in the story.

The plot revolves around two men, namely Amos Jones and Andy Brown. These roles were played by actors Tim Moore and Spencer Williams respectively. None could ever forget the humor that these people brought to the general audience. It was raw and surprising and downright comical.

The story is set in Atlanta, Georgia. Such a setting is fitting for a story which characters are black, since Atlanta is one of the America's main cities having a good number of black American people. In the very first few episodes of the story, these characters made plans to find a better life in Chicago, Illinois. They made plans even with their friend warning them that life there would not be any better.

The story is has a full pack of really hilarious scenes and crazy insights about life. The characters and their punchlines are unforgettable and poignant. The viewership is also for the general crowd, both young and old.

Amos and Andy DVD is now available for release and distribution in the general market. This is recommended for audiences of all ages who want to relive the experience and the fun that the two characters brought to its large number of viewers way back in the early twentieth century.
