Leave Everything Behind Except Your Digital Camera Batteries

By Harvin Gulfill

You just bought your very first digital SLR camera then you get used to taking pictures and suddenly your camera dies on you. You wonder what made happened. It's brand new yet it had a problem right away. So you rush back to the store and complain. The operator takes a look tells you that you just ran out of battery and motions for you to buy a new Camera Battery. Out of shame you quickly bought an extra Camera Battery.

To avoid this embarrassing predicament you should know that Camera batteries and the camera itself work hand in hand, without the other one could not function. Camera batteries give power to the camera through storing electrical charges in its battery cells as chemical energy then when used converts it to electrical energy.

Batteries were created during the 1800s by Alexander Volta for the purpose of capturing electrical energy. Volta pile, as what it was first called, contained battery cells in which energy is converted in to chemicals for storage and when used is reconverted to become electricity.

Through the years, Camera Batteries have dramatically advanced in its manufacturing through the use of different compound materials to create its battery cells. Batteries store energy in the form of chemical and when needed converts the entire chemical into electric energy. Advancements in technology have been applied to Camera Batteries as well. With better manufacturing techniques and different compositions comes longer lasting battery life. Longer battery life means more pictures taken.

Now with a better Camera Battery, your camera will last for hours on end and you can have fun without thinking of preserving your battery for the best shots because the best shots aren't always taken with the intention of it being great.
